The Pyramid Brewing Inc., in partnership with the Washington Homebrewers Association, is proud to announce the “Wild World of Wheats” homebrew competition.
waha_logo.gif
The Seattle Pyramid Brewery is asking local homebrew clubs to fire up their kettles and brew their best wheat-based beers (must have at least 25% wheat malt*).  Entries need not fit into a particular style to be entered.
Homebrewers must submit their entries to their local club (participating clubs listed below).  Each club will then select up to three beers which they want to send onto the brewery.
Pyramid Brewing Inc. will taste the submitted beers, examine the recipes, evaluate their merits, and pick their favorite to brew on their new experimental system in Seattle.
Start brewing now for the chance to have your homebrew recipe scaled up, brewed, and served at the Pyramid Brewery!  Competition rules here!  Come back to the competition website for more details and the up-to-date listing of participating clubs.

* Extract beers should have 50% wheat malt extract as most WME is ~50% wheat, 50% barley

Participating Clubs:
Greater Everett Brewers League
HoPS (Homebrewers of Parkland and Spanaway)
Mount Si Brewing Society
Bare Knuckle Brewers
South Sound Suds Society
